Agitators
The agitators are classic machines designed to handle a variety of stirring tasks economically. They are commonly used for accelerating dissolving processes, transferring temperature within a medium, or simply mixing powders with a liquid phase.
These agitators are used with a variety of drives, seal systems, and tools to accommodate diverse tasks and operating conditions. When manufacturing custom agitators, engineers determine optimal dimensions, installation positions, and customer-specific requirements. Agitators are produced for various situations: in vessels that are open or closed, with volumes ranging from 100 to 2000 litres, and for products with different characteristics and viscosities.
The agitator shaft is supported by an additional bearing in the flange, sealed with PTFE graphite material for excellent running properties and maximum resistance.
The agitator shaft is separately mounted and can be equipped with a shaft coupling. These models offer two seal options: special radial shaft sealing rings made from a PTFE compound or a double-acting mechanical seal.
The agitators can be equipped with various tools such as high-speed propellers, axial turbines, stirring disks, toothed disks, beaker stirrers, slow-running anchors, skew blades, or spiral stirrers with high torque.
All agitators can operate within temperatures ranging from -10°C to 120°C. Components of the agitators that contact the product are made from SS 316. Agitator shafts and tools are dynamically balanced.
